Episode 16 of my irregular photo journal - Yet another photo dump

I know I haven’t posted or written much for my blog here in the last year. The main reason is the fact that most of my writing is now done either reviewing stuff for megapixel.cz or making articles for fstoppers.com. If you want to see my articles there, here is my profile with all of the pieces I wrote. That being said I still have a few ideas in my head that would feel better here than anywhere else. My photography for example. I made the decision a few years back to stop posting on Instagram as it’s largely a dead platform photography-wise in my experience. I wrote about it here back in October 2021. And recently I haven’t really shot a lot of street photography for myself. I’ve been busy with work, writing, family, moving houses, you know… Life. This week though I finally found some time to get a few clicks in. First was Monday evening as I was running a street photography group course and the second was Wednesday when I was filming an introduction the the X100VI. So here are some shots from these days plus a few more from before I haven’t posted either. Not much of a blog post, I know. Like I said. A photo dump. I’d say “I hope you like them” but I like them and that is what I care about.

By the way. A week ago I was going through my old folders looking for some street images for the course to have as a slideshow in the background for the theoretical part of the class. My older photographs are organised in folders by year, then a month, and after that day by day. What made me kind of sad was when I went through the years 2015, 2016, and 2017 folders, and each had subfolders for nearly every day of the month. Each folder had a decent amount of images in them. I only kept the ones I was happy with and edited. Compare that to today where going out to take pictures happens maybe once a month if I have time. I need to work on that. I miss it…
